Responsibilities
Communicates effectively with sponsors, stakeholders and team members. Reports on the status, issues, key activities and any changes to the charter of the overall project. Identifies and communicates resource conflicts. Provides presentations on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. Builds a close working relationship with clients/vendors to enhance the image of the department and that of Client.
Applies testing knowledge to develop user acceptance criteria, testing activities, and integration schedule, to ensure all changes and new functionalities are successfully added to the SAP landscape. Ensures results of all testing are fully documented, client is satisfied with test results and appropriate sign-offs are obtained.
Full lifecycle project management of multiple complex SAP Projects. Defines project scope, goals and deliverables in support of business goals, and works with management and stakeholders for approvals. Creates and maintains project documentation – charters, PM plans, schedules, status reports, change requests etc. Monitors and controls execution phase to ensure that projects are completed on time and meets all business and system requirements. Conducts all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are achieved.
Develops and maintains standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation required by the PMO which would include detailed project management plans, schedules, status reports, ServiceNow updates, roles & responsibilities list, risks, issues, monthly budget forecasts, and project closing documentation.
Creates and maintains project budgets including people and material costs to all projects; estimates resources needed and work effort for all project activities and negotiates with resource managers to ensure that the appropriate resources are assigned to achieve project goals. Records actual time spent on each project and reports on variance between forecasted. Maintains resource capacity plans for actively managed projects.
Participates in the evaluation, selection, maintenance and continuous enhancements of project management methodology, tools and templates, and contributes to the overall improvement of the PMO.
