TFS BUILD Engineer

Role: TFS BUILD Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX
Job type: Contract

Team Foundation Server:
Create and Manage Team Projects
Create and Manage groups and users in TFS
Manage access rights of groups and users
Create and Manage branches
Customize TFS templates according to Project Managers and Team Leads
Manage synchronizatin between Quality Center and TFS
Devise branching and merging policies for entire organization and help developers understand and adhere to it
Help developers on TFS (Work Items, Check-In/Check-Out policies, etc)

Builds & Deployments:
Automate builds using TeamBuild for all projects
Automate deployment packages for all the environments
Deploy builds to ITO, Staging and production environments as per release schedules
Perform Continuous Integration for critical projects
Perform nightly builds and auto deployments for necessary projects
Build, manage, and monitor TFS build servers for all the projects
Write server and client installers as necessary using Installshield2009

Misc:
Work with Program Managers and QA managers to resolve scheduling conflicts of releases
Setup code analysis tools for all the projects
Troubleshoot build and deployment issues with Team Lead and Operations group
