Description:
Strong hands-on development and implementation experience with BEA WebLogic Portal and responsible for building Portal solutions from the ground up using BEA WLP
Must possess experience in:
Expertise in BEA WebLogic Platform with emphasis on WebLogic Portal (WLP).
Understand issues about scalability, reliability etc.
Understand OO methodologies and design practices
Excellent knowledge of J2EE standards, design patterns and best practices.
Hands on experience on BEA WebLogic Portal
Must be proficient and have hands-on experience with BEA WebLogic Portal and BEA Weblogic Portal administration.
Hands-on experience in design, information architecture, and user interface design for portals. Must know the internals of BEA WebLogic Portal: API/Framework, BEA WebLogic Workshop, Servlet Authentication, XML Schema, X-Beans and building Java Controls.
Knowledge must include JSP, JPF, Workshop Controls, Java Applets, Portal Framework
Understanding of portals and workplace technical software components, including portal software and collaboration, Web content management, document management, identity management, etc.
Understanding of security architecture; messaging between the Web-based portal and legacy systems; configuration, optimization, and administration of the portal and application servers; testing support.
Ability to integrate with third party commercial products and to develop APIs to integrate and interface with these products.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior level developers and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical management and line staff, superior organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Hands-on Java, EJB, J2EE, JSP, XML, UML, JMS
Thorough understanding of clustered environment. Experience Migrating, Deploying, Performance Tuning, including but not limited to tuning Heap Size, Execute Threads, CPU Utilization, Connection Pool, JMS Configuration, Cluster Configuration, and Load Balancing.
